IMF staff and Sri Lanka reached staff-level agreement on the seventh review of the Extended Fund Facility and concluded 2026 Article IV discussions. Board approval is contingent on a 2027 Budget in line with programme parameters and a financing-assurances review that assesses progress with debt restructuring. Approval would release about US$345 million (SDR 254 million).
